Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban called for preventing Ukrainian agricultural products from entering the EU market. Magyar Nemzet writes about this.
The politician complained that in this way Brussels “deprives European farmers of their livelihood”.
— The problem for European farmers is that Brussels sets rules that make production more and more expensive for them. The same thing happens in Hungary, but at the same time they allow agricultural products to be imported into Europe from countries where the same rules do not apply, — Orban said.
According to him, this means that “Ukrainian agricultural products should not enter the European market”.

Orbán said that farmers “nobody listens”so they supposedly feel that the distance between them and the people who make decisions in Brussels is “like sky to earth”.
Orban recently made another scandalous statement when he said that the best option for Ukraine would be to act as a buffer zone between Russia and the West.
According to him, Russia will never welcome such an EU and NATO member as Ukraine on its doorstep. He also said that he does not see any danger of Russia attacking a NATO member.
