Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban announced the start of the second phase of the offensive, which he associates with a second presidency of Donald Trump in USA.

Orban said this during a speech dedicated to the results of Hungary's presidency of the EU, Reuters reports.

Orban expressed hope that Trump's inauguration will become a catalyst for large-scale right-wing political change in Europe.

He also stressed that the new phase of the “offensive” is aimed at “occupying Brussels.”

Orban has long been known for his criticism of European institutions and his desire to strengthen the role of national governments in the EU. His speeches often draw criticism from EU leaders.
