The number of Poles who do not support Ukraine's accession to the European Union and NATO exceeds the number of those who support this step.
This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the IBRiS agency on behalf of the Defence24 portal and the Stand With Ukraine initiative.
Scepticism grows in Poland over Ukraine's integration into the EU and NATO
According to the survey, 35% of respondents are in favor of Ukraine joining the EU, while 42% are against. In the case of NATO, 37% support Ukraine’s accession, while 42% are against.

Among the main reasons for disagreement, the Poles named concerns about unfair economic competition, problems with corruption in Ukraine, and the risks of escalation of war if Ukraine is accepted into the Alliance.
Let us recall that the majority of Poles are against sending soldiers to Ukraine.
86.5% of Poles do not support the idea of sending Polish troops to Ukraine.
58.5% of respondents were categorically against this decision, while another 28% were rather against it.
Only 8.4% support such an initiative: 0.8% of them answered definitely yes, and 7.6% – rather yes.
The survey showed that regardless of political views, the majority of Poles are united on this issue.
