Kuban and Iral can break away from Russia, – Lisyansky/Collage of Channel 24
Russia's defeat in the war with Ukraine is getting closer. Against this background, a number of regions of the country may begin to break away.
Already now, certain conflicts with some regions are taking place inside the aggressor country. Ukrainian human rights activist Pavel Lisyansky told Channel 24 about this.
Kaliningrad and the Urals may be the first
He believes that Kaliningrad can break away first of all.
There is an unofficial party at the local level that promotes the principles of regional separatism – Lisyansky emphasized.
In addition, the Russian authorities are now in conflict with the Urals. He recalled how the well-known propagandist Vladislav Solovyov criticized Yekaterinburg, but the Urals gave him a clear answer.

The Russian propagandist made a statement that Yekaterinburg is supposedly “the center of a vile libero”. He said that the city “has given rise to scum that hides abroad.”
However, Solovyov's speech did not go unanswered. The artistic director of the Ural State Variety Theater Alexander Novikov responded to the so-called journalist, noting that “his language went wrong.”

Lisyansky believes that border countries with Kazakhstan can break away. He noted that Russia tried several times through the “Cossacks” in Orenburg, in the north of Kazakhstan, to create people's republics.

For example, in Kuban , in the Rostov region, there is a constant conflict between “Cossacks” and Kadyrovites. There were attempts to create the Kuban People's Republic on this territory.
The expert said that there is such a thing as “Cossack separatism.” Allegedly, if you are not a “Cossack” in some region of the Kuban, you are not in the “Cossack community”, then you will not hold any position in local government.
“All the components are so different, so disagree, but today they are still silent. Although we already see public conflicts – for example, in Moscow and Yekaterinburg. These are only the first signs,” Lisyansky added.
