Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Russians have been mercilessly hitting the city of Lyubotin in the Kharkiv region. This place was considered safe, but Russian missiles inflicted significant damage on it.

This was reported to Channel 24 by a correspondent from Kharkov. She stressed that Russian shelling simply wiped out one of the streets in Lyubotin.

It is difficult to determine where the house was

According to the journalist, there is no part of the street in Lyubotyn at all. She stressed that the Russian monsters purposefully fired missiles directly at private residential buildings.

It is difficult to find the place where this or that house stood, since only conflagrations remained, – said correspondent.

As she noted, as a result of Russian shelling, 7 private houses were destroyed to the ground – only the foundations remained of them. In addition, another 5 houses are considered affected – destroyed roofs and windows. The cars of local residents were completely burned down.

The journalist noted that now the prosecutor's office is working in Lyubotin, which examines these places and testifies with the victims. At the same time, specialists continue to search for fragments of Russian shells that fired at the street.

“Here, Russians fired missiles at a school, a boarding school and other institutions. Today, June 17, another criminal case will be opened on new war crimes of the invaders,” the correspondent noted.

Lyubotin was considered a calm place

The journalist emphasized that Lyubotin was considered a fairly calm, quiet and safe place. According to her, many from Kharkov moved to this settlement to wait out the shelling of the million-plus city.

“Lyubotin is located west of Kharkov. At the same time, the western part of the region was considered completely safe. However, unfortunately, there are no safe places,” the journalist summed up.

  • On the night of June 17 Russian infidels fired at Zolochiv, Kharkiv region, with prohibited cluster shells. According to the head of the Zolochiv community Viktor Kovalenko. As a result of Russian shelling, 7 houses were damaged, there is no information about the wounded and dead yet.
