Ukrainians will always remember the crimes of Russians and the genocide they commit against the Ukrainian people. Residents of Dnipro are still recovering from a rocket attack on a residential building, which killed 46 people.

Among them was 17-year-old Maxim Bogutsky. The guy was buried two weeks after the tragedy.

Green apron remains in memory

The Bogutsky family bought an apartment in the house 10 years ago. However, after the Russian missile hit, there was no apartment, no car, no photographs left.

Maxim's mother, Tatyana, said that they had a very friendly family.

I always thought how lucky I was with my son. He had a great sense of humor, he loved to cook and learn new things, – said the woman.

17-year-old Maksim was in the apartment himself when the occupiers hit the apartment building with a rocket. The parents left earlier to visit.

Photographer Oksana Johannesson recalls that she first met the guy's parents on the second day of the rescue work. He says that the apartment was located on the 7th floor. Then she saw that a green apron was hanging in the surviving kitchen – a gift from her son from the first scholarship.

Friends from childhood and the university came to Maxim's funeral, where the young man studied programming in his first year. They buried him with a covered sheet.

“All that remains of “that” life is this green apron,” the photographer noted.

She also said that the Bogutsky family is in great need of help, and will be grateful to everyone:
