According to the study, only 8.4% of respondents from Russia said they were ready to give 10% of their earnings to support their army. More than half of the respondents are not ready to help with even the smallest donations.

The Russian media write about this, based on data from a study of the Chronicle project. According to them, the number of Russians supporting the war in Ukraine has also decreased.

Support for the war among Russians is declining

According to the study, 63.4% of Russians are not ready to share their earnings with the army. Only 8.4% are willing to give away 10% of their earnings.

Ukrainians actively donate to the army

While the Russians are tossing about in their decision to support or not support the war, the Ukrainians are actively striking at their convoys with equipment. And not only the army takes part in this, but also ordinary citizens who actively help with constant donations and volunteer activities.

  • The UNITED24 project, which was created to raise funds for Ukraine, launched a joint financing of the Army of Drones project “, in which our soldiers will buy new combat birds. According to the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov, joint efforts managed to raise 400 million hryvnias over the week.
  • On June 22, volunteer Serhiy Prytula announced a fundraiser for 3 Bayraktar tactical drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He stressed that more than half a billion hryvnias should be collected within a week. Only a day after the announcement of the start of fundraising, the Ukrainians managed to raise almost 300 million. At the same time, representatives of the company were so touched by the unity of Ukrainians that they decided to send 3 UAVs to the Ukrainian front for free.
  • In total, as of the end of June, the Prytula fund had collected more than a billion hryvnias to help the army.
