The destruction of the location of the Russian occupiers in Makeyevka is far from the first “slam” that occurred due to the imprudence and carelessness of the Russians themselves. Such stories will go on and on.
Military expert Pavel Narozhny told Channel 24 about this. According to him, there is a difference between Ukrainian and Russian artillerymen, because the Ukrainian military worked on New Year's Eve, and the Russians, obviously, were preparing for the celebrations and cut salads.

Pavel Narozhny spoke about the success of the Ukrainian artillery in Makeevka and the reasons for the failure of the Russians.
No one gathered at the table, no one chopped salads, poured something down the collar, and the Russians have the situation is exactly the opposite, – said Pavel Narozhny.
According to a military expert, there is unconfirmed information that there were 250 Russian soldiers in Makiivka who had recently graduated from an artillery training center. The Russians also furnished equipment and ammunition, which pleased the Ukrainian HIMARS operators.

Four HIMARS shots led to this result, which, according to Narozhny, cost the Americans about half a million dollars – a relatively small price for such a result.

And this is just 4 shots from Hymars, that is, 4 missiles, for American taxpayers – this is about half a million dollars and so much damage was done to the Russians, – the military expert noted.
Pavel Narozhny explained that this was due to the decision to gather such a large number of people in one unprotected room and to surround them with equipment and ammunition. At the same time, the military expert noted the merit of Ukrainian intelligence, which discovered the location of the Russians and equipment, and delivered an accurate blow to Ukrainian artillerymen.
“This is a huge chain of work for the army and all the units that protect the Haimars, who bring ammunition, do reconnaissance, and so on ..,” summed up Narozhny.
What happened in Makeevka
- On December 31, on New Year's Eve, Ukrainian artillerymen attacked the location of hundreds of Russian military personnel. They were housed in one of the schools in the city of Makeevka.
- The Russian Ministry of Defense acknowledged the death of 63 Russian soldiers. According to information from Russian publics, the death toll is in the hundreds, from 300 to 600.
- The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the strike on the invaders and reported the destruction of up to 10 units of enemy equipment of various types.
