The founder of the terrorist battalion “Arbat”, Ukrainian crime boss and collaborator Armen Sargsyan was liquidated in Moscow. He was one of those who surrendered Donbass in 2014.

He could have been destroyed either by the Ukrainian special services, or the FSB, or because of internal reprisals in Donbass. Reserve colonel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, pilot-instructor, military expert Roman Svitan told Channel 24 more.

Why Sargsyan could have been liquidated

During the reign of the former traitorous president Viktor Yanukovych, the well-known crime boss nicknamed Yura Yenakievsky had a right hand – the creator of the Arbat battalion Armen Sargsyan.

Donetsk bandits who, together with the “cops”, surrendered Donbass to the Russians in 2014, – Svitan emphasized.

However, punishment for the crimes committed came, albeit after 10 years. There were three people who could have liquidated Sargsyan:

• Ukrainian special services, which at one time showed him the “black mark”;
• internal reprisals, because there are many financial machinations in Donbass, in particular with Russian money, related to the distribution of territories;
• the work of the FSB due to serious pressure from the United States on the Russians to stop the hostilities in Ukraine.

There is a possibility that the Russians will have to withdraw their troops from Ukrainian territories, and it will be precisely people like Armen Sargsyan who will oppose this.

They can be “removed” now, so as not to put it off until later, – explained Roman Svitan.

But despite everything, the main task has been accomplished – one of the leaders of terrorist groups in Donbass has been eliminated.

It should be noted that the explosion occurred in the residential complex “Scarlet Sails”. Russian propaganda media, citing sources in the security forces, write that Sargsyan could have been blown up by a suicide bomber.

This could be a man with a tattoo in the form of a sword on his left shin, which may indicate his former affiliation with the paratroopers or other elite troops.
