President Vladimir Zelensky told how the investigation into the murder of former MP Irina Farion is progressing.

The head of state said that in the morning he received new reports from the Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko and the head of the SBU Vasily Malyuk on the investigation into the murder of Irina Farion.
— They are monitoring all available surveillance cameras, interviewing witnesses, and examining the territory of several areas. All versions are being investigated, including the one leading to Russia, — he emphasized.

According to him, all the necessary forces of the National Police and the SBU are involved in the search for the suspect in the crime, and the heads of law enforcement agencies are in Lvov.
– I am grateful to everyone who is helping the investigation. My condolences to the family and all loved ones of Irina Farion, — added the president.
Murder of Farion: versions of the crime
In the morning, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Igor Klimenko, said that the main versions of the murder of Irina Farion are her social and political activities, personal hostility.
He also did not rule out the involvement of Russian special services in the crime.
Speaking about the murder suspect Farion, Klimenko noted that this man was near her house at a certain time for several days, that is, he carefully prepared.
A shell casing was found at the crime scene; after a forensic examination, investigators will have additional information.
The case is being investigated as premeditated murder (Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Under this article, the offender faces up to 15 years.
