One of the priority oil refineries has come under the radar of drones in Russia: military report from Svitan Alina Vishnevskaya

Two oil depots and an oil refinery in Russia were attacked by drones. At the same time, this is not the first time that an oil refinery in the Krasnodar region has come under attack.

Military expert, pilot-instructor, reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Roman Svitan, in a daily report for 24 Channel noted that the products of the Afipsky oil refinery go to the Russian army.

Strike on oil refineries and 2 oil depots in Russia

Svitan noted that the Russian hydrocarbon industry continues to be subject to “sanctions” of Malyuk and Budanov. In particular, a number of objects are subject to repeated attacks, because a drone will not completely destroy an oil refinery. Therefore, they hit certain points, after which the plant goes out of order for several weeks or months. And this is not the first time that the Afipsky Oil Refinery has come under attack.

He added that the main terminal for the Afipsky Oil Refinery is Novorossiysk. That is, it pumps oil to Novorossiysk, and the products – diesel and aviation kerosene – go to the Russian army.

Therefore, this plant is a priority for in this direction,” noted the reserve colonel.

Most likely, he concluded, the Russians do not have enough air defense systems for all oil refining facilities. And scaling such attacks will bring us a lot of benefit.

What is happening near Ocheretino

The reserve colonel said that in the Ocheretino area of the Donetsk region the enemy had penetrated our defenses. The Ukrainian military is trying to cut off this wedging.

According to him, if you move along the highway from Konstantinovka to Avdievka, then the Ocheretinsky wedging can be completely leveled.

The Russians will definitely leave and will not develop offensive actions, Svitan believes.

That is, he added he, the occupiers will retreat back to the Donetsk airport area. At the same time, we must have enough strength and resources for such a movement, since this is a rather serious operation.
