Local residents have reported that Avdiivka has experienced one of the worst shellings in the city since 2014. The fire is visible throughout the city.

Relevant information was provided by MP Musa Magomedov. He announced this late in the evening on May 22.

People from Avdiivka write to me: “Now one of the most terrible shelling of the city since 2014.” Hell in Avdiivka. The city is just cracking,” Magomedov wrote.

The politician said that the village of Khimik and the old part were under massive shelling of Russian infidels. In addition:

• a lot of destruction in high-rise buildings and the private sector;
• a fire in the city. It is known that the flagship school, which was opened after repairs during the 2021-2022 school years, is on fire.

Musa Magomedov wrote that there were victims. Despite this, the rescuers are unable to put out the fires, so the Russian infidels continue shelling.

• On May 22, Aleksey Arestovich said that heavy fighting continues in the East of Ukraine. The adviser to the head of the Office of the President explained that not everything was going well in Donbas.
• On May 18, Russian infidels fired at a school in Avdiivka. Gali on it with phosphorus ammunition. The school is on fire. Now there are only burned-out walls on her city.
• On May 17, 7 residents of Donbass died in a day. Unfortunately, the dead: 2 – in Bakhmutsky, 2 – in Bakhmut, 1 – in Avdeevka, 1 – in Drobyshev, 1 – in Soledar. Another 6 people were injured. In total, since February 24, the Russians have killed 382 civilians in the Donetsk region. Another 1,096 people were injured.
• It is known that on May 17, a nine-year-old girl was seriously injured. She remained under the rubble until she was pulled out and taken to the hospital.
