One of the most influential in Ukraine: police detained thieves in law “Umka” and “Lasha Svana”

Known thieves in law have been detained in Ukraine. The court decides on the choice of “Umka” and “Lashi Svanu” measure of restraint.

According to the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General, both are suspected of spreading criminal influence and organizing “gatherings”. Previously, Umka had already been released from behind bars.

The evidence collected by law enforcement officers became the basis for detaining the attackers. The issue of electing measures for him is currently being decided.

Who are “Umka” and “Lasha Svan”

Thieves in the law “Umka” and “Lasha Swan” created criminal groups and controlled them through their representatives. They controlled crime in:

  • Dnepropetrovsk region,
  • Odessa region,
  • Nikolaev region,
  • Zaporozhye and parts of the West.

Umka was crowned in 2014, and Lasha Swan in 1995. They received their “titles” from the top representatives of the Russian criminal world.

  • “Lasha Svan” – Javachvliani Lasha Valeryanovich, 04/16/1974;
  • “Umka” – Oleinik Sergei Aleksandrovich, born April 5, 1973, from Kyiv.

Both of them are on the sanctions list of the National Security and Defense Council. In addition, “Umka” is located in the “Peacemaker” base. There he got into a conscious participation in the destabilization of the socio-political situation in Ukraine and a destructive influence on local governments.
