One of the bloodiest stages of the war is over: two main victories of Ukrainians are named/General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
The fifth month of the Great War, Russia's full-scale attack on Ukraine, has ended. It was one of the bloodiest stages of this war.

The enemy, taking advantage of a huge advantage (10 – 20 times) in artillery and ammunition, tried to gradually advance in the Luhansk region like an asphalt skating rink.
Victory of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and panic of the Russians the troops had to retreat from Severodonetsk and Lisichansk. But in these battles there were huge losses on the part of the Russians, and, in the end, the active resistance of the Ukrainian troops stopped the slow Russian advance. In mid-July, the situation on the eastern front relatively stabilized.
We managed to stop the enemy thanks to the fact that the Ukrainian army began to receive heavy weapons, artillery and modern multiple launch rocket systems from our partners. The weapon of the moon is the American HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, which cause panic in the Russians and effectively destroy enemy headquarters and ammunition depots.
In the southern direction, the Ukrainian army is gradually starting to move to counterattacks. The main military victory of the moon is the liberation of Snake Island, a strategic outpost in the Black Sea.
Russians cannot defeat Ukrainians
The enemy cannot defeat Ukrainians on the battlefield, therefore he is trying intimidate us and break us psychologically. That is why the Russian troops began demonstrative rocket attacks on Ukrainian cities and civilian objects.
As a result, the fifth month of the war will remain in the memory of the tragedies of Kremenchug, Vinnitsa, Vremenny Yar, when dozens of civilians, including children, died after rocket attacks. The front-line cities – Kharkov, Nikolaev, Kramatorsk – are regularly shelled. And there, people die under Russian shelling almost every day.
But this month of the war has shown again that Ukrainian resistance is invincible. Our partners are helping us with this by supplying weapons, and by sanctions pressure on Russia, and by economic assistance.
In particular, an international conference was held in Lugano, which laid the foundation for the creation of an international coalition in support of the economic recovery of Ukraine. The EU, NATO, G7 summits held at the end of June confirmed Ukraine's support, including for the future, even if Russia's war against Ukraine drags on.
Ukraine's main diplomatic victory in this period was the granting of our country the status of a candidate member of the EU. And this is also a sign and a long-term guarantee of support for Ukraine in countering Russian aggression.
