Attacks on a power facility in the Odessa region

Just during the alarm due to the threat of a missile attack on energy facilities, DTEK reported a power outage in Odessa and the region. It was a preventive measure and, as it turned out, not in vain.

Reports of explosions in the Odessa region appeared several times on local telegram channels. At 4:12 a.m., the head of the OVA, Maksim Marchenko, confirmed the missile strikes and said that there had been hits on the energy facilities of the region, which also damaged private houses.

At the same time, air defense forces shot down 2 enemy missiles. Fortunately, no one was injured in the attack. Shutdowns continue in the area.

Subsequently, the head of the Odessa OVA, Maxim Marchenko, noted that the enemy had damaged several power lines and a pole. There are currently hourly emergency power outages in the region. Power engineers are already working on repairs.

He added that air defense units in the sky over the Odessa region shot down 6 missiles, as well as one UAV.

A series of explosions in Kharkov

At about 3:50 a series of explosions began in Kharkov. The mayor of the city, Igor Terekhov, confirmed the shelling of the city. Subsequently, the mayor noted that energy facilities were targeted, which is why there are power outages in some districts of Kharkov.

At the same time, the chairman of the OVA, Oleg Sinegubov, said that the Russians launched 15 missile attacks on Kharkov and the region, attacking critical infrastructure. There was also a hit in a private house in the region. Details of damage and casualties are being clarified.

Powerful explosions in Kyiv

In the Kyiv region, during the alarm, they heard the sounds of explosions. However, the IVA said that as of 4:20 a.m., sounds of air defense forces were heard in the region.

After that, more reports of explosions in the region appeared on the network, but the authorities have not yet commented on them.

Closer to 6 am , a powerful explosion was heard in the capital. Whether it was an arrival or air defense work is unknown as of 05:55. At the same time, we note that the Monitor group warns of the threat of new explosions in the capital. Therefore, take care of yourself and stay in shelters.

Already at 05:57 Monitor reported that Kiev could have previously been hit with ballistics. It was launched from the Kursk region. It should be noted that the distance from Kursk to the capital is more than 400 kilometers. His ballistic missiles are able to overcome in a matter of minutes.

Previously, an arrival could happen in the city. As they say on the network, a column of smoke rose at the site of impact. Subsequently, it became known that a large fire broke out. Probably, the occupiers were hit by two rockets at once. We are awaiting confirmation from local authorities.

According to available information, there is no electricity in some areas of Kiev. Officially, no hits were reported on energy infrastructure facilities. So for now we can assume that these were preventive measures to minimize the consequences of a missile strike.

06:25. Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed that the explosions were in the Goloseevsky district of Kiev. All the necessary services went to the place. He promised to share details later.

06:37. The Kiev OVA reported on the work of air defense. Residents of the region were urged to maintain informational silence. They were asked not to film or post anything online.

06:58. Correspondents “Suspilny” reported another explosion in Kiev. Air defense worked first. We remind you that the air raid is still ongoing, so do not leave your shelters. At 07:00 Monitor stressed that “that's not all”.

07:14. The mayor confirmed another explosion in Kyiv. This time the arrival took place in the Svyatoshinsky district. All relevant services were also sent there. It is known that cars are burning in the courtyard of one of the residential buildings.

A few minutes later he clarified the information about this strike. According to Vitali Klitschko, two people were injured in the Svyatoshinsky district. They are already being treated by doctors on the spot.

The head of the Kyiv GVA Sergiy Popko updated the data as of 7:30. According to him, in the Goloseevsky district, a hit on an infrastructure facility was recorded. As for Svyatoshinsky, two people were injured by rocket fragments. Vitali Klitschko added that they were hospitalized. In total, three people applied for medical help.

They hit Kyiv with a “Dagger”

This was told by the head of the KGVA Sergei Popko. He noted that in the capital the air raid lasted about 7 hours. During this time, the invaders attacked the city with everything they could.

Thanks to the work of our air defense, attacks by cruise missiles and UAVs on the capital are not allowed. But, unfortunately, an aeroballistic missile of the “Dagger” type (preliminary information) hit the infrastructure facility. All services are on site. The liquidation of the consequences continues, he stressed.

During the alarm , there were reports of explosions in the Nikolaev, Dnepropetrovsk, Sumy, Vinnitsa, Zaporozhye, Kirovograd, Poltava, Khmelnytsky, Zhytomyr, Ternopil, Rivne, Lvov and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. However, as of 05:10, authorities have not yet published information about the situation in these regions.

Attention! As of 05:30, 32 long-distance trains run with a delay. 7 of them are over an hour late. The reason for this was emergency blackouts, said Oleksandr Pertsovsky, a member of the board of Ukrzaliznytsia.

At 06:00, the Monitor channel reported that explosions had taken place in the Ternopil region. And after 2 minutes – at 06:02 – in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. At 06:13 it became known that air defense was operating in the Ternopil region.

06:14 information was received about a powerful explosion in the Dnieper. According to preliminary information, it could be air defense work.

The head of the Kirovohrad OVA Andrey Raykovich said that in the Kropyvnytskyi district there was a hit in an energy infrastructure facility. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Five dead in the Lviv region

This was told by the head of the OVA Maxim Kozitsky. He noted that the rocket hit the Zolochiv community. Arrival was recorded in a residential area. A fire broke out, which was extinguished.

As for the victims, as of 09:20 , two adult men and two women are mentioned, as well as one man in 1963, whose body was pulled out from the rubble. All of them were in their homes at the time of the rocket's fall. The demolition operation continues. It is possible that other people may be under them.

As a result , the energy infrastructure and industrial enterprises were damaged. As for the destruction, they are serious. Relevant services continue to operate at the impact sites. They tame the fire and deal with the aftermath of attacks.

There are emergency blackouts in the region. Because of this, the sewerage and filtration stations on the left bank of the Kamenskoye have been de-energized. The lack of electricity in Pervomaiskoye also led to the cessation of water supply.
