In Izyum, in the Kharkiv region, fierce battles between the Ukrainian military and the invaders continue. Russian invaders have captured the northern part of the city, so humanitarian aid cannot be delivered there.

Maxim Strelnik, head of the Izyum City Council department, spoke about this on the air of Channel 24.

According to him, Anatoly Fomichevsky, a local deputy from the banned OPPL party, let the occupiers into the city, showing them an unprotected road.

It was in this part of the city (northern – channel 24), unfortunately, that the state traitors colluded with the enemies and led them along the road, which was unprotected, unknown. Only the locals could know about it,” he said.

Therefore, local authorities and volunteers cannot get into the city with humanitarian aid and evacuation buses.

“One hope remains for the Armed Forces of Ukraine who will definitely push them out of the city, clear the way for us, and we will immediately set off to save our fellow countrymen,” the representative of the City Council said.

He added that we are talking about about 20 thousand people who are already over 3 weeks are in complete blockade without food, water and medicine.
