The Russian army is concentrating its efforts on the Pokrovsky direction, where it is throwing its most experienced assault units into battle.

Syrsky at the front
According to him, for three days he worked on the Eastern Front, namely in the brigades that are holding the line on the Kharkov and Toretsky directions.
— The main tasks of my work in the brigades are to study the situation directly in the combat zones, analyze the effectiveness of combat missions, resolve problematic issues of providing units with ammunition, UAVs, electronic warfare systems and assist commanders in organizing combat operations, — writes Syrsky.
The Commander-in-Chief added that as part of his work in the East of Ukraine, he met with the brigade unit commanders, with whom they jointly discussed ways to increase the resilience of the defense.
Situation on the Front Line
— The enemy continues to concentrate its efforts in the Pokrovsk direction, throwing its experienced assault units into battle, trying to break through our defenses in the direction of Zhelannoye, Novogrodovka, Pokrovsk. In the Kupyansk directionIn the area of Peschanoye, Stelmakhovka, Makeyevka, fierce fighting continues, but we are holding our positions, — the commander-in-chief reported.
Syrsky points out that the situation is also difficult in the Seversky direction, where the enemy is actively using artillery and conducting assaults, but the Russians have not achieved any success on this front line.
In addition, fierce fighting is taking place in the area of the canal on the approaches to Chasovy Yar, without changing the positions of the parties, the commander-in-chief reported.
— The enemy continues to storm our positions in the areas of New York, Yuzhny, Zhelezny, — he adds.
As for the Kharkov direction, fighting continues in the area of Glubokoye and Vovchansk, although the enemy is not achieving success and is suffering “significant losses”.
— Combat operations of varying intensity continue in all directions of the enemy's offensive. In some places, at the cost of heavy losses, the enemy is achieving minor success. During active combat, the tactical positions of troops can change several times a day. As of now, no significant changes have occurred, — says the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In parallel with this, the National Police, the SBU and the Military Law Enforcement Service are conducting counter-sabotage operations, within the framework of which units of the said agencies are identifying and neutralizing enemy sabotage groups in urban areas in the Toretsk direction.
