The Russians were most interested in where the educational buildings and barracks of the institute were located, which was relocated from Kharkov to the Lviv region at the beginning of the full-scale war.

According to the investigation, the traitor planned to transmit to the Russian special service the coordinates of the institute's service buildings, where her classmates were located, and then leave the institute before the attack and go to the Russian Federation through third countries.

The SBU military counterintelligence exposed her activities in advance and documented all the evidence. In parallel, measures were taken to ensure the safety of the training and residence areas of the institute's cadets.

The traitor was detained when she tried to give the Russians the geolocation of targets and escape from the training area. Her phone with evidence of her work for the FSB was confiscated.

The cadet was informed of suspicion of treason (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). She is currently in custody without the right to post bail.

The defendant faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property for the crime she committed.
