The Summer Olympic Games in Paris will start on July 26 with the opening ceremony and will last until August 11. Only 329 sets of awards will be drawn in France.
However, in some sports competitions begin on Wednesday, July 24th. First of all, we are talking about team sports, in particular football, in which the Ukrainian team will make its debut at the Olympics.

July 24
- 20:00. Football: Iraq — Ukraine;
Ruslan Rotan's team will be the first to start at the Olympics in Paris with Ukrainian athletes in the Group B match against the Iraqi team.
In total, men's football matches will be played on this day in all quartets as part of the nominally first round. You can find a detailed schedule of the football tournament at the 2024 Games in the material.
Also on July 24, men's rugby competitions will begin.
July 25
Competitions are scheduled for this day in handball (women), archery (women and men), rugby, football (women).
Ukraine will be represented in archery by Veronika Marchenko, and in men’s by Mikhail Usach.
July 26
On this day at 20:00 the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games will begin. The highlight of the opening ceremony of the competition will be that for the first time it will take place outside the stadium — in the heart of Paris on the Seine River.
July 27
On this day, the first Olympic medals will be played in shooting, namely in the 10m air rifle mixed doubles.
Ukrainian athletes will compete on this day in synchronized diving from a 3-meter springboard. Also, qualifications in artistic gymnastics will determine the future path for our male gymnasts.
The Ukrainian national football team will play the second match in Group B with Morocco. There will also be medal fencing tournaments, where Ukrainian fencers could potentially get into.

Also scheduled are competitions in badminton, handball (men), rowing, shooting, volleyball, equestrianism, judo and field hockey.
July 28
- 13:00. Shooting: 10m, women.
On this day, the schedule of the 2024 Olympic Games offers sports fans the final competition in air pistol shooting, where Ukraine will be represented by the champion of the 2012 Games Elena Kostevich. Qualification will take place on July 27.
Potentially, the first fight among Ukrainians could be held by boxer Aider Abduraimov (depending on the draw).
On this day, competitions in tennis, boxing, basketball and gymnastics, in particular, start. Medals will be awarded in women's archery, women's foil, swimming, etc.
July 29
On this day, Tokyo 2020 judo bronze medalist Darya Bilodid and Games champion Olga Kharlan will start competing. Both athletes must first overcome the qualifying stages.
Dmytro Lovchinsky (over 92 kg) may start competing in boxing (depending on the draw).
The program also includes the team all-around final in men's artistic gymnastics, where our team could theoretically qualify. There will also be a 10-meter tower diving final, where the Ukrainians will compete.

July 30
On this day, our football guys will complete their performances at the group stage with a match against Argentina. Also, if they pass the qualifications, Ukrainians can qualify for the pistol shooting finals as a team, according to the schedule of the 2024 Olympics.
Mikhail Romanchuk could also potentially compete in the swimming finals, and the women's epee team will begin their performances from the 1/4 finals.

Performances will also continue in a number of team sports at the Games, as well as in tennis, in particular.
July 31
On this day, medals in surfing will be played on the Pacific island of Tahiti, but here Ukrainians are not represented in the discipline.
But Ukrainian women will compete in synchronized diving, and it is also potentially possible for our athletes to participate in the finals in rowing and in the men's all-around in artistic gymnastics.

July 1
On this day, the final race walking competitions for men and women will take place at the Games, where there are representatives from Ukraine. Ukrainian Elizaveta Litvinenko will compete in judo in the weight category up to 78 kg.
A swimming final with Ukrainian swimmer Alexander Zheltyakov (200m backstroke) and a semi-final in the 50m freestyle (Vladislav Bukhov) are also possible. To do this, they need to overcome the qualification.

August 2
In athletics there will be qualifications in the high jump, where our Yaroslava Maguchikh, Yulia Levchenko and Irina Gerashchenko will perform.
Team performances in archery are also planned, and swimmer Vladislav Bukhov could potentially qualify for the 50-meter freestyle. In addition, the Ukrainian football team could potentially play its quarter-final match if it finishes in the first two places in the group.

On this day the finals of the men's 3-meter springboard diving and the finals of kayaking and canoeing in the men's double team will take place.

Qualification is planned for the triple jump competition, where Marina Bekh-Romanchuk will perform. And also competitions in the women's team saber.
Medal games will take place in women's singles tennis. In this discipline we are represented by four athletes: Elina Svitolina, Angelina Kalinina, Marta Kostyuk and Dayana Yastremskaya.

- 21:20. Athletics: triple jump.
July 4
The final match for gold in women's tennis pairs will take place, where the Ukrainians will be represented by two duets, sisters Kichenok and Dayana Yastremskaya and Marta Kostyuk. To do this, you will need to overcome the previous stages of the competition.
Also on the program is the final of the women's high jump, where Ukrainians can qualify. In addition, there will be finals in the hammer throw, where Mikhail Kokhan may qualify, and Mikhail Romanchuk, if he reaches the finals, will compete for medals at a distance of 1,500 m freestyle.
There will be a fight for gold in boxing in the weight category up to 92 kg, in which Dmitry Lovchinsky will compete.

Wrestling competitions will begin at the Games, according to the Olympic competition schedule. The first to be expected will be Ukrainians Tatiana Rizhko (up to 68 kg) and Oksana Livach (up to 50 kg). Finals and decisive matches are expected in the evening session.

August 7
There will be qualification competitions in men's high jump, where we are represented by three athletes: Vladislav Lavskiy, Oleg Doroshchuk and Andrey Protsenko.
There will also be fights for entry into the finals in Greco-Roman wrestling, where Ukraine is represented by Tokyo medalists Zhan Beleniuk and Parviz Nasibov. The final in boxing up to 80 kg is expected, where Oleksandr Khizhnyak is competing.

The only weightlifter from Ukraine, Kamila Konotop, will begin the competition for a medal at the 2024 Games in the weight category up to 59 kg.
According to the schedule of the 2024 Olympics, the first finals in kayaking and canoeing are planned (Lyudmila Luzan and Anastasia Rybachok in the double team). And in wrestling, Belenyuk and Nasibov can end their performances with finals.
