By the Day of Knowledge, the OKKO filling station network completed repair and restoration work at Lyceum No. 1 in the city of Gostomel, Kyiv region. The institution was seriously damaged during hostilities this spring.
The lyceum itself survived, but 187 double-glazed windows were destroyed, 139 doors and 111 windows were broken, the roof and facade were mutilated and the heating system was damaged.
The leadership of the lyceum turned to patrons for help in restoring, and the OKKO network responded to this request back in July.
The company at its own expense:
- replaced the roof and individual fragments of the facade,
- installed new double-glazed windows,
- took the heating system in order,
- performed internal repairs,
- rebuilt the main entrance to the lyceum, taking into account inclusive needs, etc.
Repair work was completed before September 1, so that students of Gostomel lyceum No. 1 could return to school and meet Day of Knowledge in a restored institution.
