Russian invaders have become more active in the Luhansk and Limansk directions. Until now, there is a powerful amplitude of attacks on Bakhmut.
Speaker of the Eastern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergey Cherevaty spoke about this forChannel 24. He noted that everyone needs to work for victory and not believe the intimidation of the Russians.
“The offensive of the Russians in the east continues constantly. I cannot say that it has somehow changed. I think that the Russians have always had strong propaganda and the theme of intimidation. Before February 24, they once again want to raise this wave. It is very important for Ukrainian society, after years of powerful struggle, when everyone was united, to continue to keep the line, not to look at what the enemy threatens,” Cherevaty said.
He added that the unity and help of partners are unconditional victory factors.
Will the enemy change the situation on the front
Colonel Margo Grosberg, commander of the Intelligence Center of the Estonian Defense Forces, believes that the Russians are not able to change the situation on the battlefield. However, he noted that the occupiers have the initiative in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. According to Grosberg, it is difficult for the invaders to attack because of warming.
In the north-east of Ukraine, that is, in the Lugansk region, the average daily temperature is kept at zero, in the south of the country a positive temperature was established. In other words, the weather is now conducive to the defense operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the colonel said.
