Andreevka, Donetsk region, was liberated by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Deputy commander of the 3rd separate assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Rodion Kudryashov, which participated in the offensive operation, told the details of the deoccupation of the village.
Kudryashov said on Radio Liberty (project Svoboda. Morning) that stabilization efforts are now continuing in Andreevka aimed at recording success. Ukrainian defenders need to establish communications and logistics there, and clear land mines.
According to him, during the assault operations, the entire branch of the leadership of the 72nd separate motorized rifle brigade of the Russian Federation was liquidated. He noted that the liberation of the villages around Bakhmut came at a great cost to the Ukrainian military.

— Certain stabilization actions are currently underway to secure our success. Today we can confidently say that Andreevka is under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, under the control of the 3rd separate assault brigade, — Kudryashov said.
He added that the 72nd separate motorized rifle brigade of the Russian Federation — this is not the only one and not the first one that tried to stand in the way of the liberation of Andreevka, trying to keep the settlement under Russian control.

Kudryashov told the details of the liberation of Andreevka, Donetsk region. According to him, the liberation took place in two stages. Ukrainian soldiers first prepared a bridgehead on the bank of the Seversky Donets Canal — this made it possible to operate in the direction of Andreevka, Kleshchievka and Kurdyumivka.
Later, during the last month, soldiers of the Defense Forces carried out daily assault operations, raids and consolidated positions in certain areas of the Donetsk region, heights and finally — in the most populated area.
On the morning of September 15, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces had taken control of Andreevka, Donetsk region, thanks to assault operations.
