Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal told if there is a risk of a fuel shortage due to the constant shelling of oil depots by the Russians. He noted that negotiations are already underway with other countries regarding supplies.

Shmyhal noted that they have already taken a number of measures aimed at preventing problems with oil.

In an interview Interfax, the Prime Minister noted that the provision of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and strategic industries is being carried out. He recalled that the authorities removed the excise tax on fuel, reduced VAT and help farmers during the sowing season.

Shmyhal added that they are now reorienting to other sources of supply.

We work with networks both in terms of delivering fuel to the country and in terms of its price at gas stations. We are negotiating with global companies and other states regarding supplies. I won't say that it's easy to shift from one supply source to another. However, this is the path, and we are moving along it,” Shmyhal said.

Let us remind you! Over the past few days, the invaders have been destroying oil depots in the west of the country with rockets. Oil storage facilities in Lvov, Rovno and Lutsk came under shelling.
