In the telegram channel of the Zaporozhye OVA, speaker Colonel Ivan Arefiev said that yesterday, May 3, at about 17:00, the occupiers dealt another blow to residential buildings in the city of Huliaipole. As a result, two people were injured and one died.
According to the speaker of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military District, the enemy shelling was carried out from heavy artillery. Putin's troops shelled civilian housing. Russian shells hit two private houses. As a result, the roofs of buildings were destroyed, doors, windows and the territory of civilian households were damaged.
On the fact of a war crime, the police handed over the materials to the SBU in the Zaporozhye region to resolve the issue of opening criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Violation of the laws and customs of war,” Ivan Arefiev noted.

- Also, on May 3, at about 08:00 am, an explosion thundered in Melitopol. According to eyewitnesses, a mined scooter exploded. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties as a result of the incident.
- The enemy fired at the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the Zaporozhye region near the village of Orekhov.
- In the Zaporozhye region, unknown people tried to get into the apartments of local residents to “Census”. The government asks people to be prudent and not fall for the provocations of the enemy.
