Russian opposition politician Gennady Gudkov spoke about this Channel 24, noting that Putin started a war against virtually the entire world and will definitely not win it. Gudkov noted that in Russia the rhetoric has generally changed from “we will win” ” to “the main thing is not to lose.” Therefore, the occupiers are actively using nuclear blackmail, since it influences part of the Western coalition, and they, in turn, cannot ignore the risk of nuclear war. At the same time, Vladimir Putin was warned through diplomatic channels that if he tried to use nuclear weapons against one of the countries, a response would be sent to all his bunkers. Nuclear blackmail must be survived. Yes, this is an unpleasant procedure. You can’t wave a saber and say that we are not afraid of anything. We are all afraid of nuclear war. This is a normal fear of any normal person around the world. However, we understand that the risk of use is minimal and the aggressor must be punished,” said the Russian opposition politician. “The absence of punishment can absolutely lead to a nuclear war, unlike what is happening now. Therefore, among the “two evils” we have to choose the lesser – the aggressor must be punished on the battlefield in Ukraine, must be defeated. This is a global task,” added Gudkov. Deputy Defense Minister Ivan Gavrilyuk in an interview with Tagesspiegel noted that when signing any document, Russia must renounce nuclear weapons. Then the war will end and all the territories of Ukraine will be returned. However, it is necessary to create a mechanism that will exclude the possibility of a second attack by the enemy. In my opinion, this is absolutely unrealistic. It was possible to impose ultimatum demands on Germany during capitulation, but this will not happen to Russia. We understand that Ukraine’s military victory will take place in cities where Russian aggression is manifested. However, there will be no complete military defeat and capitulation, suggested Gennady Gudkov.
