Ukraine refuses to conduct a prisoner exchange with Russia if there are no women on the list. But the Russian invaders do not want to release Ukrainian women from captivity.
As Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Irina Vereshchuk said in an interview with journalists, Russia tried to exchange Ukrainian civilians for Russian prisoners of war.
However, this is prohibited by the Geneva Convention. According to her, the Russian side initially planned to use the Ukrainians forcibly taken out for further exchange.
Pay attention! In Russia, they previously admitted that they were capturing civilian Ukrainians and then exchanging them for Russian prisoners. This happened after the infidels kidnapped the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, and exchanged him for prisoners.
However, Ukraine refused and demanded that Russia return the captured Ukrainian civilians.
We know that there are more than a thousand hostages, including almost 500 women. We know that they are in prisons and pre-trial detention centers in Kursk, Bryansk, Ryazan, Rostov,” Vereshchuk said.
In addition, Russia is delaying the release of captured Ukrainian women. Vereshchuk complained that women had to get almost pliers. Now Ukraine refuses to carry out an exchange without women on the list.
