C On August 7, 2022, internally displaced persons (IDPs) will be able to register and process living allowances even if they have lost their passport.

However, after the indexation of social benefits, payments to certain groups of people may cancel. This was reported by the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, channel 24 reports.

Of course, this applies to all categories. But now the list of documents has been reduced, in particular, in case of loss of a passport.

How to receive a payment for displaced persons if they have lost their passport

Thus, instead of a passport, displaced persons can use a certificate from the State Migration Service< /strong> on the submission of documents for issuing a passport of a citizen of Ukraine.

Such a certificate will be issued by:

  • centers for the provision of administrative services;
  • < li> territorial bodies or territorial subdivisions of the State Customs Service;

  • state-owned enterprises related to the management of the GTS, etc.

In addition, you can use documents from the “Action” application, in particular “there is a Document” to process payments.

Amount of payments

Recall that, despite the fact that payments for internally displaced persons may be cut. Although this does not apply to everyone, of course. However, Minister of Social Policy Oksana Zholnovich assured that payments would remain at the same fixed level as before.

We are talking about:

  • 3 000 hryvnia per child or person with a disability and
  • 2000 hryvnia per adult.

How many IDPs are there in Ukraine

Head of the Ministry of Reintegration Irina Vereshchuk reported, that now in Ukraine 3.4 million people are internally displaced persons. But the International Organization for Migration records 6.2 million internally displaced persons (together with those who received this status since 2014) – this is approximately 14% of the total population of Ukraine.
