Western countries are not yet in a hurry to make a decision on the transfer of aviation to Ukraine, which is essential for the de-occupation of territories. Previously, Ukraine was also denied tanks and other heavy equipment, but still it is already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and therefore a decision on aircraft will also be made.

About thisChannel 24< /strong> said the international expert, professor of the Department of International Relations of the National Aviation University Maxim Yali. According to him, the coalition to support Ukraine has about 50 states, so it is worth considering their internal decision-making processes, which take some time.

Worth the wait

Maxim Yali said that there is nothing surprising in the fact that Western partners said that Ukraine would not receive aircraft. According to an international expert, first it is worth waiting for the arrival of the tanks that promised Ukraine, and then we can expect a positive decision on the planes.

Appetite usually comes with eating aviation is really needed, but we can remember how they didn’t even want to give us Javelins, Stingers, artillery, infantry fighting vehicles, howitzers – they already have it all, they give it, – said the professor.

Maxim Yali recalled his debate with a German expert, when he argued that Leopard tanks from Germany would be in Ukraine no earlier than in a year, but in fact they would already be in a few months.

The international expert noted that the citizens of the partner countries are afraid of being drawn into a war with Russia, so this is a key obstacle. In addition, do not forget that Russia has been investing in its own propaganda and bribing certain politicians and parties in Western countries for decades, and therefore it still left its mark.

After Russia started to lose on the battlefield, it invests even more in this propaganda in its lobbyists. Therefore, we see all these statements, articles in the American media, even in the Washington Post, New York Times, loyal to the presidential administration, to the Democrats, but such materials still appear there, – said Yali.

Professor of the Department of International Relations noted that Ukraine's allies have already bet too much on the victory of Ukraine, and this is very important for their voters, because they love the winners. Therefore, they will continue to support Ukraine in the future.

They have already begun to understand that this is not only a war between Russia and Ukraine, that Vladimir Putin's appetites are not limited to Ukraine. If, God forbid, he succeeds, he will not stop, just like Adolf Hitler after the Anschluss of Austria, and then the Munich conspiracy in the Czech Republic, – said Maxim Yali.

An international expert also noted that the Ukrainians there is a big problem – Ukrainian-centrism. According to Yali, Ukrainians think that the problem of war in Ukraine is the only one in the world. The professor recalled that the Ukrainians were not very worried when Russia bombed Syria.
