The Russian enemy brazenly broke into Ukrainian soil. It is simply impossible to describe all our hatred, but the fact that there is no place for anything Russian on our territory is for sure.

95 streets were renamed in Kyiv< /h2>

Therefore, with the start of a full-scale invasion in Ukraine, they began de-Russification – they are renaming the streets. The same decision was made in the capital as well. So, the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, said that on August 25, the city council renamed 95 Soviet streets.

New names, initiated and supported by the public during the rating voting, should perpetuate the memory of the outstanding historical events of Ukraine, as well as famous figures and Heroes who glorified Ukraine and fought for the independence of our state. In particular, in the modern Russian-Ukrainian war, – said the mayor of Kiev.

He also stressed that this is an important step towards reducing the false manipulations and influence of the Russian aggressor on the interpretation of our history.

According to him, the renaming process in the capital is not yet complete – it will be continued at the next plenary session.
