This was stated by German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius during a visit to Ukraine. However, this is not all that Berlin promises to provide.
What Germany will provide in the near future
Boris Pistorius stressed that Germany and the allies will continue to support Ukraine in the fight against Russia. To this end, by the end of February, our state will receive additional guided missiles for air defense systems. Pistorius did not specify their number.
Germany will also provide 5 Gepard anti-aircraft self-propelled guns and 5 Badger engineering tanks designed for laying bridges. Self-propelled guns will also arrive at the end of February, and engineering tanks in March.
At the same time, the German Defense Minister ruled out the possibility of supplying combat aircraft to Ukraine.
