A new meeting in the Rammstein format will take place on February 14 and it has already been dubbed aviation and missile. In general, this is a fairly realistic and symbolic question.
So, aviation and long-range missiles are already on the negotiating table with our allies. Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, told Channel 24 about this.
What will they talk about at the new Ramstein
Therefore, we can say publicly that Ukraine is conducting intensive negotiations at various levels and platforms. In addition, our partners are clearly aware that the transfer of only armored vehicles, if they are not protected by long-range missiles, will look strange for this stage of the war.
So, if aviation is already on the negotiating table, then< strong> on “Ramstein-9” will talk about two components:
- analysis of the use of weapons that have already been provided to Ukraine, namely, how effective they are today, given the collected resources of Russia;
- it will be said what Ukraine needs to intensify the war on our part: in order to destroy Russian bases, reduce the military capabilities of the aggressor country, minimize the losses of our fighters and accelerate the advancement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This will be discussed at Ramstein. Of course, there are 2 key elements there: missiles and aircraft, – said the adviser to the head of the Presidential Office.
According to him, now it is a matter of time and allied countries. In addition, Poland provides considerable support in this matter to our state, which is quite passionate and charismatic in negotiating.
Moreover, Poland understands the nature of this war and Russia itself very well, therefore it makes a decision faster.

Therefore, with the support of such an ally as Poland, our state has every chance to persuade the European community to make a decision on further providing Ukraine with all the necessary weapons.
Western fighters for Ukraine : what is known
- A serious debate is underway around the transfer of American F-16 fighters to Ukraine. Some of the allied states strongly support this decision. But there are those who are afraid of it, they say, this will cause an escalation.
- The Netherlands was the first to raise the issue of providing Ukraine with F-16 fighters even before the end of the last Ramstein in January. Poland also supported this issue.
- Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that Poland is ready to transfer American F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine within the coalition if the United States agrees to this.
- At the same time, Germany has its own vision of the aviation issue for our state. Germany said that Ukraine will not receive modern fighters. According to Chancellor Olaf Scholz, the transfer of aircraft is potentially fraught with an escalation of the conflict with Russia.
