Russia continues to go to the bottom after the dam burst and heavy rainfall in the Orsk region. For the sake of discussions on the “unpleasant situation” that is spreading throughout the aggressor country, the Russian dictator nevertheless decided to hold a meeting.

Back on Friday evening , April 5, reports began to appear in the Russian media about a dam breaking and the flooding of Orsk. However, Vladimir Putin has only now decided to “have mercy” and hold a meeting on this situation, reports Channel 24.

Promised payments

The Kremlin head held a meeting on liquidation of the consequences of floods in the Orenburg, Kurgan and Tyumen regions. Those present at the discussion were members of the government, heads of relevant ministries, as well as heads of regions and municipalities affected by the flood.

There was also demonstrative concern about the situation. Almost three weeks after the dam burst, the Russian dictator said that compensation payments to Russians affected by the emergency would need to be assessed in detail and adjusted, if necessary.

I mean one-time financial assistance, payments in connection with partial or complete loss of property, and others. The approaches here must be uniform and fair – regardless of the budgetary provision of the regions, – Putin assured.

According to him, the government must respond to “every complaint and appeal from citizens.” At the same time, according to Russian emergency services, the total amount of payments to victims of a dam break in the Orenburg region allegedly exceeded 1 billion rubles. Note that he did not visit any of the affected areas.

Will not wait for final damage assessment to be completed

Russian Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services Irek Faizullin said that the pace of inspection of residential premises damaged by floods is planned to almost double.

According to him, the authorities will release funds in stages without waiting for the full completion of the assessment. However, the quality of the process of such payments in such a situation is questionable.
