Over the past 2 months, the attitude of Ukrainians towards the leaders of Poland, Great Britain, the USA, Turkey, Lithuania and France has significantly improved.

Ldier among the sympathies of Ukrainians is Polish President Andrzej Duda. The attitude towards German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has worsened.

Attitude of Ukrainians towards international leaders

  • 92% of respondents have a positive attitude towards Polish President Andrzej Duda,
  • towards the Prime Minister British Minister Johnson – 87%,
  • US President Joe Biden – 86%,
  • Turkish President Erdogan – 76%,
  • Lithuanian President Nauseda – 75% ,
  • French President Macron – 75%,
  • European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen – 66%,
  • German Chancellor Olaf Scholz – 30%, and negative – 54%.
  • German President Steinmeier is positively viewed by 26%, negatively – 44%. •

Most of the respondents have a negative attitude towards the leaders of Belarus – 96% and Russia – 98%.

What is known about the poll?

It was conducted by the sociological group “Rating April 26, 2022. Audience: the population of Ukraine over 18 years old in all regions, except for the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and Donbass. The sample is representative in terms of age, gender, and type of settlement. Sample population: 1000 respondents. Interrogation method: CATI. The representativeness error of the study with a confidence probability of 0.95: no more than 3.1%.
