Not long ago, a Storm Shadow missile struck a Russian command post in Maryino, Kursk region. The attack wounded a North Korean general and killed several officers.

Channel 24 reports, citing the Financial Times. Ukrainian intelligence reports that this was one of several strikes on North Korean positions in the Kursk region.

At the same time, according to Ukrainian intelligence, North Korea sent Colonel General Kim Yong Bok to Russia to oversee the special forces units of the Assault Corps. The publication noted that it is not yet known for sure whether he was in Maryino at the time of the attack.

As the Ukrainian official noted, the attack on Maryino was just one of “several” over the past week aimed at North Koreans in the Kursk region using other weapons. He added that Ukrainian forces are actively searching for other locations of North Korean soldiers, since they were dispersed.

Recall that, according to Defense Express, on November 20, Ukraine launched a strike with Storm Shadow missiles on an underground facility located on the territory of the sanatorium of the Russian Presidential Property Management Department in Maryino. As a result of the attack, a Russian general and 18 officers could have been killed, and another 33 could have been injured.
