North Korea is massively supplying Russia with 152mm artillery shells. However, the Russians are not at all satisfied with their quality.

What's wrong with the DPRK shells

< p>Enemy propaganda channels openly proclaim the poor quality of North Korean ammunition. Russian artillerymen claim that the firing range of shells that are identical on the outside is different. The reason is the shortcomings in the configuration of the NDT-3 propellant charges.

The invaders decided to test it. They compared 5 randomly selected DPRK ammunition with the same markings. As it turns out, propellant charges do not always contain diluent. We are talking about a coil of lead or tin wire, which is designed to remove copper deposited from the leading belt of the projectile from the gun barrel.

The occupiers also found obvious differences in gunpowder color in the charges. This may also indirectly indicate the difference in its combustion. Moreover, the amount of gunpowder itself in many shells also differed.

In addition, the Russians found traces of the opening of the sealing caps. This could also deteriorate the quality of the gunpowder if moisture got inside.

According to the occupiers, all these factors influenced the difference in the flight range of North Korean artillery ammunition.
