Nobody wants to talk with Putin: how Peskov is looking for new allies for Russia

by alex

Dmitry Peskov said that Russia is ready for negotiations, but no one is making contact. This story is aimed at third world countries that do not support Russia, but are not ready to take the side of Ukraine either.

In this statement, the “mouthpiece of the Kremlin” disperses the key theses that it is necessary to sit down at the negotiating table regarding the war in Ukraine. Political scientist Oleg Sahakyan told Channel 24 about this.

Russia is looking for allies among third world countries

Russia traditionally manipulates the thesis allegedly “the West has attacked the aggressor country and is fighting with the hands of Ukraine.” This statement by Peskov is directed at an observer from conditional Nicaragua or Brazil. Like, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin wants peace, and the “bad” West allegedly seeks to continue the war in Ukraine.

This means that the reason why food is becoming more expensive in third world countries or ships do not reach through the grain corridor is not Russia at all, but the fact that the West does not seem to want to end the war.

This is the mythology they work with. Peskov fully understands why he is pushing this thesis. Moreover, it sounds not only from Peskov and will continue to sound,” the political scientist noted.

The Kremlin is working on scenarios for the West

Among other things, a spokesman for the Russian dictator said it was too early to talk about Putin's participation in the 2024 presidential election. Thus, the Russian elites may consider the option that another person may come to power in Russia, but here the story is somewhat different.

First of all, Peskov is Putin's “mouthpiece”, so he says this with a slightly different purpose. In general, this is a standard scheme for the head of the Kremlin, when he pulls intrigue to the last regarding participation in the elections. This allows the Russian dictator to :

  • check the strength of the Russian elites and keep them in good shape;
  • warm up the fact that it is Putin who will make the decision to participate in the elections, that is, all power is in his hands;
  • create an image of ambiguity and work for export. So, in the West they constantly talk about the need to change the Putin regime, so this allows you to create such an ambiguity, they say, the head of the Kremlin will step down from power. And so the West does not need to impose serious sanctions against Russia and start negotiating.

“The Kremlin is working on various scenarios for the West. According to the Kremlin's political technologists, at least a discussion about these scenarios can shake the ranks of Ukraine's support,” the political scientist summed up.
