Western countries should allow the Ukrainian Armed Forces to use long-range missiles against targets in Russia.
This was stated by the Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Republic Karel Řehka.
The West must allow the Ukrainian Armed Forces to use long-range missiles against targets in the Russian Federation
According to the Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Republic, if this is not done, Ukraine will have no chance of effectively defending itself.

– These restrictions must be lifted, because it is legal and legitimate for Ukrainians to defend themselves, even by attacking Russian territory. After all, they can’t box with one hand tied behind their back,” Rzehka noted.
The Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Republic noted that Russia is threatening escalation, but is not shy about using missiles against Ukrainian cities and has a significant advantage.
– Planes take off from Russian airfields that are within range of their weapons, but the Ukrainians cannot use them. And these planes then bomb civilian infrastructure, not just soldiers. Therefore, it would be quite normal if the Ukrainians could attack Russian territory, too, Karel Rzehka noted.
He also commented on the events in the Kursk region. According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces operation demonstrated that the Russians most often only make threats.
The Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Republic noted that the situation in the Kursk region showed some Western leaders that there is no need to fear escalation and red lines, because the Russians are still “brandishing” nuclear weapons, but when the Ukrainians captured the entire area (of the Kursk region, – ed.), nothing happened.
Recall that the Verkhovna Rada recently adopted an appeal to the G7 countries, calling for the lifting of all restrictions on the use of Western long-range weapons for strikes on the territory RF.
