According to her, the goal of Italy's support now is to put Ukraine in the most favorable conditions in peace negotiations.
— The peace I have spoken about many times cannot mean capitulation, as many cowardly suggest. It means providing military support to Ukraine and the energy sector, which is one of the priorities, — she noted.
The head of the Council of Ministers added that Italy agrees with the importance of involving as many reliable international leaders as possible who can persuade Moscow to sit down at the negotiating table.
In her opinion, the world should continue to condemn any support for Russia's military efforts.
During the briefing, President Volodymyr Zelensky explained how to force Russia to end the war in Ukraine. According to him, this is the meaning of the Victory Plan.
