US military aid to Ukraine
The US has announced a new $425 million military aid package for Ukraine.
It will include air defense systems and long-range weapons, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said following a telephone conversation with US President Joe Biden.
The head of state suggested that the US consider the possibility of developing joint weapons production.
Parties discussed the importance of additional training for Ukrainian soldiers.
Presentation of the Victory Plan for Ukraine
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky presented the Victory Plan in the war to the people's deputies in the Verkhovna Rada.
It covers several points:
- The first point is geopolitical. It is about inviting Ukraine to NATO right now.
- The second point is defense. The war must return to Russian territory so that people will direct their hatred at the Kremlin, despite Moscow's propaganda.
- The third point is non-nuclear deterrence. Ukraine proposes to deploy a comprehensive non-nuclear strategic deterrence package sufficient for future defense.
- The fourth point is economic potential. Ukraine proposes to sign a special agreement on investment in the extraction and use of valuable natural resources, concluding agreements with the EU and the US.
- The fifth point is security. After the war, Ukraine will have a large and experienced military contingent.
The Victory Plan provides for the replacement of certain US military contingents deployed in Europe with Ukrainian units, if the partners agree.
Ramstein meeting in November
During the conversation, Presidents Volodymyr Zelensky and Joe Biden paid special attention to the upcoming online meeting of the Ukrainian Defense Contact Group in the Ramstein format, which will take place in November.
According to the head of state, he informed the US President about the address to the Ukrainian parliament, during which the Victory Plan received the support of all parliamentary parties and groups.
Volodymyr Zelensky is going to present it to EU partners at a meeting of the Council of Europe soon.
The US and Ukraine continues to work with partners to implement the Formula Peace.
The President thanked the United States for its willingness to help Ukraine strengthen its position to force Russia to engage in honest diplomacy.
Russian plans to strike nuclear power
The Russian Federation may be preparing to strike Ukraine's nuclear power industry, Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga said during a briefing in Odessa.
According to him, Russia has complete dominance in the air. The occupation forces are striking our military positions, destroying Ukrainian cities and infrastructure.
At the same time, Russia is preparing strikes on nuclear power facilities. The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has declared his readiness to share relevant evidence with our partners.

Scholz's readiness to talk to Putin about peace
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has announced his readiness to negotiate with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin about ending the war in Ukraine.
During his speech in the Bundestag, Scholz noted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called for another peace conference with Russia's participation.
According to him, Germany will talk to the Russian president about a fair peace in Ukraine if this will ask.
According to Olaf Scholz, Germany should do everything possible to ensure that Russia's war against Ukraine does not last forever.
