A new step in defiance of the EU: Orban played along with Putin again Natalia Belzetskaya

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban visited the capital of Georgia, where protests continue. There he was booed, but pro-government TV channels praised the head of government as the prime minister of the country presiding over the EU, although the European Union claims that it did not give Orban the right to represent the organization at this meeting.

By his behavior, the Hungarian politician only confirms that he is a puppet of Vladimir Putin. This opinion was expressed to 24 Kanal by the chairman of the Hungarian community of Kyiv and the Kyiv region Tibor Tompa, adding that this was finally confirmed by Orban's reaction to the elections in Georgia.

Orban played along with Putin again

The pro-Russian party “Georgian Dream” won the elections in Georgia held on October 26. Since then, protests have been spreading across the country. Against this background, Viktor Orban arrived in Tbilisi, where he stated that the Georgians allegedly made the right choice because they did not get involved in the war and “did not become a second Ukraine.”

Then one of the Hungarian intellectuals stated that Orban should be awarded a “black belt of political cynicism.” After all, in this situation, the prime minister's cynicism simply knows no bounds. He is playing along with the Russian dictator, who has adopted a wait-and-see position regarding the elections.

Why Putin did this? Because the Kremlin has a representative like Orban, who constantly destroys European principles, European policy and does all the dirty and unworthy work instead of the Kremlin, – emphasized Tibor Tompa.

Unfortunately, Viktor Orban has truly become the executor of Putin's wishes today. Although in reality Hungary has no positive benefits from interaction with Russia.

Recall that in Georgia people came out to protest after a pro-Russian party won the elections. On the day of the vote, there were numerous reports of violations and falsifications.

Viktor Orban arrived in Tbilisi on October 28. He congratulated the “Georgian Dream” on their victory and stated that “Georgians have chosen a peaceful path” unlike Ukraine.
