Russia still wants to destroy Ukraine and establish a new world order.
This was stated by the head of Estonian intelligence Ants Kiviselg in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
– What Putin said in December 2021 is what he really wants (the speech in which Putin announced an ultimatum to the West and said that he fears that NATO weapons will be delivered to Ukraine – ED.) He wants NATO not to expand and to move back to 1997,” Kiviselg believes.
According to the head of Estonian intelligence, there is no reason to believe that the Kremlin’s plans have changed.

“I think he wants to establish a new security architecture in Europe. Russia wants to expand its sphere of influence, increase it. Russia is a big state, in their opinion, smaller states should not have their own will, they should not have the right to say what they want,” the intelligence officer emphasized.
Kiviselg noted that such a policy of aggression by the Russian Federation is directed against Western values, which is why democratic countries are resisting.
“There is no option in which we would like to live like Russia,” he added.
Earlier, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis warned that for Russia the “peace agreement” only means “time for rearmament.”
