Ukraine continue to visit official visits by representatives of different countries. So, on May 30, the new head of the French Foreign Ministry, Catherine Colonna, arrived in our state.

As soon as she arrived in Ukraine to demonstrate France's support for the Ukrainian people,” she wrote in the publication.
It should be noted that Catherine Colonna was appointed head of the French Foreign Ministry on May 20. Soon Dmitry Kuleba welcomed his new colleague with a position. He stressed that she heads the ministry in the most difficult period for Ukraine, as well as for Europe.
Also, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine stressed that he had heard a lot about Catherine Colonna. According to him, the new head of the French Foreign Ministry is a highly professional diplomat who does not violate her principles.
Later, Kuleba and Kolona had the opportunity to have a telephone conversation. During it, the foreign ministers of both states came to an agreement: the oil embargo against Russia simply needs to be introduced. In addition, the Ukrainian minister stressed that France is adamant in its support for our state.
Catherine Colonna: what is known about the new head of the French Foreign Ministry
Her diplomatic career began almost four decades ago. In 1983 Colona began its workat the French Embassy in the United States. And since September 2019, she has been the French Ambassador to the UK. Catherine Colonna's predecessor at the French Foreign Ministry was Jean-Yves Le Drian.
The column was the official representative of the Elysee Palace on the cadence of the 22nd French President Jacques Chirac. In addition, she served as Minister Delegate for European Affairs in the government of Dominique de Villepin.
