Neither Germany nor France will ever act as negotiators behind Ukraine's back. And they will never demand any concessions from Ukraine. This has never been and never will be,โ€ Macron emphasized.

Macron added that countries only act as “demanding intermediaries.” Conditions will be established only by the Ukrainian people. According to the French president, only Ukraine will decide when it will stop the war and sit down at the negotiating table.

Why Macron often speaks with Putin

Macron assures that his position is clear: France supports Ukraine. This is expressed in unprecedented sanctions. However, the country does not go to war. The French president noted that politicians were negotiating with Putin to end the war. According to him, the dialogue channel is supported also because of the threat to food security.

Macron also announced that France will provide Ukraine with 6 additional Caesar self-propelled artillery systems. In addition to these six, it was previously approved to provide another 12 self-propelled guns. The country will also provide us with a mobile laboratory for DNA analysis. In addition, the politician quoted the words of the Ukrainian anthem.
