The head of the Lugansk military administration, Sergei Gaidai, announced the release of about 200 people from Russian shelling. According to him, they managed to evacuate the residents of Rubizhne and Toshkovka.

The Lugansk Regional Police Department stressed that the humanitarian corridor for Saturday, March 26, was being prepared for several days. But, despite the preliminary agreements, the invaders still fired on the evacuation columns.

Therefore, in some settlements of the Lugansk region, evacuation is life-threatening.

Where is it possible, we take people out. Yes, 40 residents of Toshkovka have already been rescued, 100 residents of Rubizhne, who are heading towards the trains. Another 40 foreigners left the city in their own cars, the Lugansk regional police department reported.

According to the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, Irina Vereshchuk, on March 26, the work of 10 humanitarian corridors in different regions was coordinated.

The following humanitarian corridors will operate in the Luhansk region:

  • from the city of Rubizhne (the meeting place is Chekhov Street, 11);
  • from the village of Nizhne (the meeting place – Parkovaya street, 13);
  • from the city of Lisichansk (meeting place – RTI, 40 years of Victory, Sosyury street, 324);
  • from the city of Popasnaya (meeting place – Pervomayskaya street , 42);
  • from the city of Severodonetsk (meeting place – Khimikov Avenue, 28);
  • from the city of Gornoye (meeting place – Gagarina St., 13).
