Governor Alexander Gusev confirmed that the air defense allegedly destroyed several drones, but when the fragments fell, a fire broke out in one of the warehouses and the detonation of explosive objects began.

According to him, a state of emergency was introduced in the Voronezh region and evacuation began within the boundaries of the settlement of Podgorensky district.

— As a result of one of the explosions, the outbuilding of a residential building caught fire. The fire has already been extinguished. There were no casualties. A section of the road that runs through the village was blocked. Citizens are being evacuated to temporary accommodation centers, — the official specified.
