Near Shchastia, they blew up the railway tracks along which the occupiers transported equipment

It is not only the military of Ukraine that drives away and destroys the plans of the occupiers, who daily send hundreds of invaders to the forefathers. The partisans in the temporarily occupied territories are incredibly helpful in the struggle.

In particular, on January 6, they destroyed the railway line between Luhansk and Lantratovka near Shchastya in the Luhansk region. This was done using an improvised explosive device.

Why is it important

It was along this railway that the Russians brought the resources they needed for the war to the temporarily occupied territories. In particular, this refers to transportation:

  • military equipment,
  • personnel,
  • ammunition.

Also, the railway communication was also used to export grain from Ukraine to the territory of the aggressor country. So, the Russian media themselves wrote that more than 1000 tons of grain were stolen from the Starobelsky elevator alone.

Christmas “elves” are working. Lugansk partisans are a force,” wrote the head of the Lugansk OVA.

Not the first case in Luhansk

Note that this is not the first sabotage of partisans in Schastia. So, a month ago, they staged a diversion to slow down the supply of the occupiers by the railway, namely, they set fire to a relay cabinet for placing signaling, centralization and blocking equipment in the area of the Lugansk thermal power plant.

Due to this, the equipment necessary for the automated control of the railway on the Lugansk-Lantratovka section was damaged.
