The Russian army is exhausted in the battles for Severodonetsk/General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Russian invaders are trying to further seize the Luhansk region. But the battles for Severodonetsk and Lysichansk take away too much strength from the invaders.
Ukrainian troops were forced to withdraw from Lysichansk to more protected positions. After all, the powerful shelling of Russian infidels almost completely destroyed the city, leaving no possibility of a safe shelter for the Ukrainian military there.
British intelligence notes that Ukrainian troops continue to strengthen their positions on the heights in the city of Lysichansk after retreating from Severodonetsk. At the same time, delivering successful strikes deep behind enemy lines, causing significant losses to Russian command centers.
According to the British Ministry of Defense, Russian troops are becoming increasingly exhausted, reducing combat capability and have achieved tactical success only near Severodonetsk, despite to deploy the main elements of six different armies.
The decrease in the level of combat effectiveness of Russian troops may have negative consequences in the long term.
Tactical success over strategic advantages
British intelligence notes that, similarly to obtaining a tactical advantage, Russia also uses missiles. Since June 24, Russian infidels have launched an extremely large number of missiles on the territory of Ukraine. At the same time, they used long-range missiles designed to hit targets of strategic importance, but Russia continues to spend them in large numbers to gain a tactical advantage.
We are talking about Soviet-style X-22 (AS-4 Kitchen) missiles and modern X-101 (AS-23a Kodiak) missiles.
At the same time, the UK confirmed that the missiles were fired from both from the Belarusian and Russian airspace.
The battles for Lisichansk and access to Bakhmut
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also confirms the intensity of the battles for Lisichansk. The enemy is conducting assault operations in the direction of Volchoyarovka – the southern outskirts of the Lisichansk Oil Refinery, hostilities continue.
In the Lisichansk direction, in order to inflict damage, the invaders, in addition to using mortars and cannon artillery, launched air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Nikolaevka and Yakovlovka. The latter is located on the highway between Lisichansk and Bakhmut.
The enemy leaves no hope of taking control of the Bakhmut-Lysichansk highway. In order to expose the firing positions of our units, he carried out reconnaissance in combat in the direction of Nikolaevka – Controversial, and subsequently led an offensive in that direction. Ukrainian soldiers successfully suppressed all attempts and forced the enemy to retreat.
