Fierce battles continue in the East and South of our country. One of the directions of the most large-scale offensive is the city of Izyum in the Kharkiv region.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine told the latest news from the front. They described in more detail what is happening in the Izyum direction in the Kharkiv region.
Which settlements the enemy is targeting
The General Staff noted that the main efforts Russian invaders in the Izyumshchina concentrated on getting ready to continue their insidious offensive. The Russians are going to hold it on the directions of Suligovka – Novaya Dmitrovka and Suligovka – Kurulko.
To do this, the enemy involved separate units of his army. We are talking about soldiers from the 1st Tank Army, 20th Combined Arms Army of the Western Military District of Russia. The enemy also attracted the 29th, 35th and 36th Army of the 68th Army Corps of the Eastern Military District and airborne troops.
At the same time, the General Staff reports that the Russian invaders are not actively advancing in the Slobozhansky direction. Basically, they are working to regroup units, replenish ammunition supplies. The enemy also wants to hold on to the previously occupied positions and prevent the Ukrainian Defense Forces from advancing towards the state border.
Latest news from the front
- The General Staff also reported that Russian infidels continue to prepare an offensive in the direction of Seversk, Slavyanskaya, Lisichanskaya and Avdeevka. They use aircraft and artillery. They are making efforts to take Popasnaya and Rubizhne.
- At the same time, the Ukrainian military continues to destroy enemy equipment along with the invaders themselves. our defenders manage to smoke even the newest weapons of the Russians, which they usually brag about. The Armed Forces of Ukraine recently burned the latest version of the main battle tank of the infidels T-90M.
- Unfortunately, in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, Russian invaders commit terror against the civilian population. One of the latest egregious cases is associated with May 9th. In the occupied parts of Zaporozhye, they are trying their best to show the picture of the “holiday”. Documents are taken away from people and they are promised to be returned for participating “in the parade”.
