On July 11, the National Bank of Ukraine put into circulation commemorative coins “In unity is strength”. They are dedicated to the international support of Ukraine in the war against Russia.

The 5 hryvnia coin was presented by the Deputy Chairman of the National Bank Oleksiy Shaban during a meeting with the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Emina Dzhaparova and representatives of embassies from 12 countries of the world. By the way, the flags, including those of these countries, are depicted on the reverse of the coins.

We are sincerely grateful for the support of our international partners and strive to immortalize their efforts and our gratitude in commemorative coins. They are symbolically dedicated to the strength of the unity of the countries of the world, which, despite the scale of the threat, is able to protect life, freedom and justice. Shaban emphasized.

It is noted that these are the first commemorative coins that the National Bank is going to issue in the series “My Immortal Ukraine”. It is presented in two versions: the denomination of 10 hryvnia is made of 925 silver, the circulation is up to 5,000 pieces; denomination 5 hryvnia – made of nickel silver, circulation – up to 250,000 pieces.

On the obverse of the coin, a Trident was placed, around which joined hands are depicted, wrapped in a blue and yellow ribbon. they symbolize the unity of people of good will around the world.

On the reverse of the coin – the inscription “In unity – strength” and the flags of 15 countries that support and assist Ukraine: the USA, Britain, Poland, Canada, Estonia , Lithuania, Latvia, Italy, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Sweden, Netherlands, Germany , France and Japan.
