The body of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, whose death became widely known on February 16, is in the morgue of the Salekhard district clinical hospital of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Bruises were found on him, which were not the result of beatings, but resulted from other actions.
This was reported by journalists from Novaya Gazeta Europe in a conversation with emergency physicians working in a building 500 meters from the hospital itself.
— As an ambulance worker with quite a lot of experience, I can say that such injuries, as those who saw them described them, appear from convulsions. The person convulses, they try to restrain him, but the convulsions can be very strong, so bruises appear. They also said that he also had a bruise on his chest. But the one that appears in connection with chest compressions, — said a medical worker.
According to him, neither on February 16 nor on February 17, an autopsy was carried out on Navalny’s body. Apparently, this is why Moscow does not give official comments about the causes of the politician’s death and does not give it to family members.

Strange planes in Salekhard
A local taxi driver in Salekhard told reporters that two business jets arrived at the city airport on February 17 contrary to schedule.
— Small planes, on which various oligarchs often fly to us for hunting. The first jet landed at about six in the evening, it was met by cars of the Investigative Committee. And the second one arrived an hour and a half later. I myself did not personally see who arrived on it, but my colleagues said that about eight people got off the plane, went into the airport building, — shared by a man.
The taxi driver himself suggests that the passengers on the jets were experts from Moscow. If the biomaterials are sent to the capital of the Russian Federation, it will take several more days. The body will be returned to the relatives (at least it is assumed) only in a week.
Navalny's death could have occurred on February 15
The media also managed to communicate with a prisoner from the colony where Alexei Navalny was imprisoned and, apparently, died. His story leads to the conclusion that the anti-corruption fighter in the Russian Federation could have died much earlier than the administration of the Federal Penitentiary Service notified him about it.
— Back on the evening of February 15, an incomprehensible “kipish” began. The evening check, which usually lasts from 20:00 to 20:30, has been greatly accelerated. Then everyone was locked in barracks. You could hear some cars driving into the zone late in the evening and at night three times, but you couldn’t see which ones through the window, — prisoner recalls.
Already in the morning, according to him, a total check began in the barracks. Not only prohibited phones and SIM cards were taken from prisoners, but also boilers.
The guards explained such measures by the impending inspection from the region, although in fact such inspections in cells are notified a month in advance.
